Every voice needs to be heard.

Hi! Thank you for stopping by. I'm a vocal coach, choir director, and community activist with a degree in Vocal Performance from Berklee College of Music in Boston and a Masters in Social Work from Grand Valley State University.

I've been lucky enough to study with incredible instructors on both coasts as well as beautiful northern Michigan. I know that there are a lot of amazing teachers out there, so please know that finding the right fit is key, and if I'm not the right fit for you, I am more than happy to help you find an awesome teacher who is.

My passion is helping others to find their voice. I know we each have our own gifts and abilities waiting to be explored. It is my job to use the tools and knowledge gained through study in music and social work to help you to gain confidence, ability, and enjoyment in your own gifts in a healthy and supportive environment.

We'll delve into music that brings you alive utilizing classical, pop and jazz technique. We'll explore body awareness, self awareness, some music theory and lots of healthy breathing. We are our instruments so bridging the gap between self and voice is where I like to play. I hope you'll join me.
